Vertical Hold is now seeking a yoga instructor to add to our passionate and knowledgeable staff.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Has availability Mon-Thurs evenings, 7pm-8pm

• Can teach 1-3 classes a month

• Obtained 200 Hour Yoga Certification

• Is comfortable teaching Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative flows

• Experience with teaching beginner and intermediate yoga students

• Ability to make verbal adjustments to classes with a variety of experiences and needs

• Makes experiencing yoga enjoyable and engaging

• Interest in sharing their passion for yoga with the Vertical Hold community

Vertical Hold is searching for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our San Diego Events Team. As an Events Team Member, your primary role will be to provide excellent customer service to our visitors and members during our Group Events on Saturdays and Sundays. We need climbers who enjoy working with kids and families, and understand how to politely maintain a safe and controlled kid friendly climbing environment.

Some Weekends Mandatory

Our ideal candidate:

• Has a passion for climbing and sharing our sport with others. Preferred minimum 6 months climbing experience, outdoor or gym. You should be very comfortable belaying and safety checking harnesses.

• We prefer someone who has worked in customer service before, or has similar experience in a public facing fast paced environment.

• Enjoys people and interacting with people from a lot of different backgrounds.  We want people who want to be a part of our community.

• Self starter.  We value people who take pride in their work environment and will initiate tasks and problem solve.

• Good communication skills.

• Has at least 2 week-end days of open availability each month.

• Must be 16 or older

• Must be VH Belay Certified

Vertical Hold is searching for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our Poway + San Marcos Front Desk Team. As a Front Desk Team Member, your primary role will be to provide excellent customer service to our members and visitors, as well as climbing instruction and gym maintenance tasks.

Part Time with potential for Full Time
20-40 Hours/Week
Weeknights and Afternoons Preferred, at least one weekend day available to work

Our ideal candidate:

• Preferably is available to work at both VH Poway and VH San Marcos.

• Has a passion for climbing and sharing our sport with others. Preferred minimum of 1 year climbing experience, outdoor or gym. VH or other gym belay certification is a plus.

• Has worked in customer service before, or has similar experience in a public facing fast paced environment.
